Well after being on the site for 3 years i have frequented the chat-room regularly, mostly in the Mids room, but over the last year i have started moving around in the servers. Not sure that it makes me unbalanced etc but its a great way to start getting to know peeps.......................oops i forgot the mids room is unbalanced lol
As to the threads of 'Get Well' etc..........one of those was to me and Mrs Bbw_babe...........sorry for getting ill & having some great friends on here that wanted to wish us well Brucie blink...............nope it wasnt self-inflicted nor a cry for attention, sorry to burst that bubble :smile:
Please dont take this the wrong way or personally Brucie, its not intended to be a 'slagging off', tis just me having my ikkle penny's worth to your thread and re-iterating that not all peeps are such nobs or 'self self, look at me peeps' wave

is it normal? every time i pop in to the chatroom there are a few "regulars". they are there everyday for very long periods of time. is it ok for that to be their social interaction (perhaps before the internet they sat on their own?) or should they be doing other things?

and as were asking questions, is it just me or does the swinging "fraternity" have a larger than average share of "disturbed" people? There are more "xxx has been unwell and has had to be hospitalised" threads than i have seen on other websites. one theory that swinging attracts , in particular, women with low self esteem who want to feel desired and as such are more the type vulnerable to mental illness. ofcourse not all, but more than in other social networks. i have certainly seen that to be the case in clubs/spas.

well if i'm reading that right you are suggesting that those that have threads about illness are for mental health issues i would love to know how you have drawn that conclusion as none of the people that have had get well soon threads that i know have been anything to do with mental health and i can see no reason how you could of come to that conclusion as i just don't see how unwell can be inturpreted as a vunerable person with mental health issues surely someone as intelligent and balanced as yourself would realise there are many many reasons a person would be hospitalised ffs the person i put a thread on for has had breathing difficulties which was the reason for her hospitilisation due to fluid on her lungs actually her mental health is just fine thankyou i just felt that a get well soon thread would be a nice way to put a smile on her face as anyone who has had to spend a prolonged time in hospital would know there isn't much to smile about in there, its nice to know that friends you make here are thinking of you even when you are not here, simple really

What I dont understand is how he is allowed to get away with some of the things he puts on here. He has insulted mentally challenged people, overweight people, those of us that have a little life and come on here for an escape, people who have a hectic life and come on here for an escape. and he just gets away with it, Ive seen people banned on the forum and out of chatrooms for less.

Can see where your coming from Dawqnie but in the end the forums the chatrooms and indeed life need the "Numpties@ for a little recreational banter. In the end we probably owe people like Brucie a debt of gratitude for giving the place a lil old lift occasionally however much it pains me to admit that. Other site members can hardly be blamed for reacting to this dreadful manner, though there must surely come a time when those with a responsibility to the forum, site and it's members must act on that responsibility and do something about it.
I cannot suggest what, as it is not my place to do so, though I do believe as stated that this is not the place for such disgraceful behaviour.
I think it is a bad reflection on an otherwise good natured site, and those who run it.

Errrmmm. People are entitled to their opinion. Would be careful how you go about this as I can see one other user blatantly broke the AUP and could end up in the same boat. Ive not even read the AUP but just from every other one I have read I know that would not be acceptable. Lets not forget for the most part this is a pay site, it wont be easy to get somebody out.

As has been said, just ignore Brucie and don't rise to his comments if you don't like them. If he is attention seeking, it's worked.
