I'm not sure if this is going to get locked because of it's non-swing related subject matter, but I'd say at least 50% of the members here have pets and are very fond of them.
Even if they just let it run for a little while, I thought Abi might like it.
....and there are far too many pussy jokes to miss out on.
Saying that I thought I'd get the ball rolling with my dogs.

I think some of you have seen my hamster on webcam at some point!
(and yes, he did give permission to be on camera!)
The poor wee thing managed to escape a wee while back, and i thought he'd met his end down some pipe, until i heard scratching and I found him yesterday stuck down the inside of a chest of drawers, which are now disgusting, and covered in his muck ( he must have been there for ages) he also had cut all his wee paws from trying to scratch his way out of it so it was not a pretty site.
One fruit salad, some apple juice, cheese and square of dairy milk later and he was a happy wee creature chewing on my carpets again.
This is the last time I EVER agree to look after someones beastie when they go on holiday!!
Think I'll stick to fish from now on! (i have enough to cope with looking after den!)

H ... you just made my day. A little tear too but of warmth not sadness. I have just spent the last couple of hours washing Sams blankets and putting them away. I will get another cat but think I need to wait at least a couple of minutes.
I cant get pics of Sam off my phone. A guy at work is going to figure it out for me hopefully in the next few days.

Your dogs and Cats are every bit as lovely as you are hun.
He is a Siberian husky, we used to have three but sadly he is the last. They were all rescue dogs, you would be surprised how many people buy one with no idea just how much work they are.

The Cat is just a bog standard Tabby, his dad was a Feral Farm cat, and he switches between loving domestic and Tasmanian Devil at the flick of a switch. He went missing for a week, a month or so ago. We were convinced he was dead, but he turned up in the back garden with a broken fore leg and a broken hip. The recovery has taken its toll on him and he’s about half the size now, he was in that photo. Sadly he will always limp on the fore leg as the bone couldn’t be set properly to heal.
