Seeing as there have been so many complaints just lately about how the photo ads don’t work and people get no replies - I thought it might be a safe time to repost an ad.
I can’t say I spent a huge amount of time contemplating the content of my ad - in fact I spent no time at all. I spontaneously tapped away a few straightforward yet honest lines and pressed the save button.
I was prepared for the much moaned about single guy one-line replies.
I was prepare for the equally moaned about no replies at all.
I was not prepared for what followed….
3-4 replies PER MINUTE! :shock:
For the first hour of the ad going live, I was receiving 3-4 PM’s per minute. I was trying to talk to a few friends on msn and kept losing half the screen with message alert boxes.
It did eventually steady out and for the next 4-5 hours dropped to a manageable 15-20 per hour.
Now you are probably thinking they were all crappy one-line replies. Well I have to say there were a few, but the overall standard of replies was very impressive. I have to commend the guys who actually sent some well written replies (without the need to attach a photo of their turkey neck).
There were a few obvious cut and paste jobs in there too. But I was amazed by the amount of replies where the individual had actually written something interesting about themselves (and not their cock size), referred to what my ad actually said , added a little appropriate humour and demonstrated they had more than half a brain.
Well done the single guys! Credit where credit is due.
I guess someone is going to be a busy woman for quite a while :twisted:
And on a final note, to all of you moaners who say that the photo ads don’t work -bollocks!

I've just read you ad as well. Straight to the point and clear criteria, but it's nice to know the responders are actually reading it and not sending the turkey necks.
I also think your ad is slightly more preferable to some of the other up there like the "I'm looking for bareback pregnancy risk sex" one :shock:

Nice to see that nothing much changes .......... the patronising attitude shown towards single guys is obviously still alive and well. How many hoops do they have to jump through to prove themselves worthy these days? :lol2:

Forgive me if I 've got this wrong but are most of these complainants 'males'? If so then they might have a case.
Try putting an ad on as a 'bloke' looking for a 'woman' and see how many replies you get.
Speaking from my own experience, I've had 6 replies in 2 years :cry:

This is not a moan as I've been on here long enough to know better now
But it is true, different story for guys adverts.
Or even guys replies to ladies or couples adverts.

Forgive me if I am wrong but....
I just had a nosey and you don't actually have an ad at the moment
may be that is hampering your efforts to get replies from it 
:grin: I'll have to admit photo ad's never really worked for me (yes I did have one for about 4 months) so I don't bother with them nowI realise i'm up against it with so many single males out there. So my outlook now is, Gob off on the forum and some one will at least PM me if only to get shut of me.

If I go now and put up a looking for single males (as a couple) ad up then we get quite a lot of replys. When Mrs Tweeky first put an ad up she actualy had a response in about 20 seconds, simply saying can I help you, lol.
When we put a couples ad up we got some replys but they dried up fairly quickly. Get the odd mail every now and then from someone who then normaly doest reply back again. ONe thing I will say is I/we never get hassle from single guys that so many people speek of. If they do mail they say nice pics and thats about it.

I have an ad, and although I havent had any replies, it doesnt bother me too much, as I now use it to show people I know on here what I look like so they know who to avoid at munches etc...... :shock:
I prefer to meet people at munches and take it from there anyway, it works for me. You can only put so much about yourself on an ad, where as people get a far better view (literally) of you in person.
But, I live in hope.....

I'm in no hurry at this time to put more up yet. :P

Some ads on here are so brief or too long. Its a refreshing change to find an ad that once read leaves you in no doubt of its authenticity and genuineness.
