Woah, Suffolkcple some fantastic pics! Few I like of those!
I forget about this will try an put some up at the weekend!
Keep em coming as I love looking at everyone's pics!
I myself am a fairly enthusiastic photographer, and not just of smut, sadly most of my best were taken on film, and will have to wait to be scanned, however I do have a few decent digital ones.

This is the only good one I ever took. It's in Croatia.
Gorgoeus Chezz! You've got me sorted on nautical stuff now
Possibly my two fave (non portrait) pics ever:
Early in the morning on deck as I'd been up all night, this shot presented itself to me. A reminder of a really good time....

Ooh reminds me of this one...

The view from our garden on Tuesday night.
Great photos guys n gals
Is it just me or ........

Does the branch in the background look like the head of mummy raptor keeping a watchful eye on her offspring? :scared:
I knew should drop in here more often. I do mine the old fashioned way - wet, messy, and in a darkened room.

I missed the other recent photo thread. But the only person I would dare ask to model for me would have refused, so it doesn't really matter...
The photo's in this thread are brilliant from lots of folk. This is just one more of my favourites before I get carried away....
Dumfries area

some of mine and deks attempts sorry they so big redface
Tan, that firework shot is stunning.
Here are a couple of iconic figures from either side of the pond.

Sorry about all the size jumps, forgot I'd loaded and resized some at different times.
Thank you all for your kind comments biggrin :D :D
Taking that as a sign of encouragement, here are a few more :P
Some of your work is outstanding, and we just LOVE the firework picture. Never been able to get good firework shots myself confused
Now an "arty" one redface
This was shot in a bedroom using just natural light, a DSLR and a bit of imagination, not to mention a patient model who was less interested in haveing her photo taken as, well im sure you can guess hump ...
Hello, enjoyed the shots but try ephotozine (free) where my brother and I post shots. You can choose what to put into an album and whether you would like comments or critique on the photos you place. Further to that you can ask for people to take copies from the site and edit them for you for interpretation too.
And it is free
There are many themed photographers on site and so many examples of different genres -worth a look.

I used to quite a good photographer (pre digital days) But havn't really done to much recently.
I am looking to buy a camera this week and looking at possibly buying a Nikon D300, I am struggling to find an appropriate lens and am looking at a Nikkor 18-200 zoom (vr) and / or a 30 70mm Possibly Sigma or nikkor
Am confined somewhat to buget contraints and ideally need the lens' to be around the f2.8 trange, which is a problem as the 18-200 is 3.5 / 5.6.
I want to shoot inside theartes (without flash) hence why I need the 2.8 appetures. but also landscapes portraits glamour fashion etc etc.
Mike (mr-sinclair) smile
Mods edit - removed contact details that were breaking the AUP
Wow! Some stunning photos here. Not sure I would venture any of mine in the face such beauties.
There are one or two people hereabouts with 'the eye'. That is such a talent.
A lot of mine look like police evidence rolleyes .
Do you think the 'eye' can be learnt? I do so hope so.
P'raps I'll just stick to trying to get the focus right first!
.
Flaming heck, after seeing these lot, Im selling my camera
Those photos are all so amazing and fantastic, I would hate to have to try and chose a favourite!
Tan, I love the third pic (in the first set you posted), it would make a fantastic postcard.

Choon, for starters try imagining the eyepiece as a picture frame. Shift around until you get the composition right.....would it look good in a frame on the wall?
Look at things with that in mind & you'll find all sorts of photo opportunities present themselves to you.
Although whilst lying in the middle of the road in Whitby I did get some strange looks! lol
