I take in the whole thing. If the text doesn't sound right but the pictures are ok or vice versa, I don't bother to go any further. The same as if the profile is jam packed with cock shots, he's either full of himself or he's got a face like the arse end of a bus :giggle:
To me, what they say is more important than what they look like but an overall view is best
has to be a combination... had great shots ( that turn out to be at LEAST 5 yrs out of date...or was that 5 stone??? anyway.) or some great pictures true to ife with the personality of a brick!

Agree with you totally there. Need the profile text to be literate before we would even consider going any further. We like someone to have brains as well as a body
Have to agree though, by the number of totally unsuitable 'straight' people that contact us, a lot of people really must just look at the pictures (and we are talking couples as well as males here :shock: )

well profiles arent the decider for me its adverts it seems like now the profiles can have text the line is blurring.
to me the profile is the cafe & the advewrts are for people who want to meet up
so i look at the profile to see if they have an advert what their age & location is & the photos too
for me........

photo- for me crotch shots alone suggest a lack of sexual imagination & personality. It just shouts to me that foreplay will be soley a blow job which is what i find with single guys at clubs sometimes. I have to ASK for oral sex :shock:

With regards to ads well..................
First thing I look at is the picture and hopefully there is a shot by which you can gain a general assumption of what the person looks like overall....I really like to see a face above all else.....
I understand that many people will not have face pics in general view and that is fine as they can be swapped in due time...
If the pics grab my attention(and I dont just mean a huge pair of tits and all kind of action shots) then I will progress to read the text very carefully as I need to see what that person is looking for and if I may be suitable or if what they want doesnt excite me(some people have certain needs/wants that arent the sort of thing that excites me)..
If the pics are ok and the text isnt then its a no go and if the pics are no good but the text is then its a maybe as I said previously my main proirity is a face pic....I recently spoke with a cpl who sent me all manner of action shots and even changed clothes during the evening to take some special pics just for me but they were not willing to send me a face pic ( I had already sent them mine) so it was a no go for me....
Probably why I (up to yet) havent had a lot of sucsess with my men seeking ads but I will not move the goal posts to accomodate anyone.....I have criteria and they will remain in place.....
I believe first and foremost you have to be true to yourself in deciding what you want and stick to your guns as only then will you be truly happy...
Sorry if any of this upsets/enrages anyone but thats simply howI feel and everyone is different.....thankfully........otherwise it would be pretty boring wouldnt it....

I am the same as Steve, I like to look at the pics and from that I can gleam some sort of idea if they are what I am looking for, then I read the text.
We both have criteria that we stick to, if it means we miss out on meeting people then so be it. :cool:
