i know people who have and occasional problems are a build up of limescale on the ring if you dont regularly move it / clean it... and if you get limescale build up and THEN move it... that's a tad painful.

just the ticket... first boil up equal parts of white vinegar to water and soak for a few hours.. then a quick scrub with those tools to remove the residue... and job's a good'un.

Well I'm proper confused to tell you the truth - I just cant work out in my own head how :shock:
I'm pierced, and there's no way that ring is coming out unless (a) its pulled out , as in, ripped through the skin (its not pleasant let me tell you!) or (b) you physically unscrew the ball between finger and thumb then pull the ring/bar through at an angle through the existing hole.
Similarly with a couple of partners who were pierced, its near on impossible to get the ring out unless you deliberately unscrew it.
Only think I can think is that it cant have been fastened correctly/tightly in the first place???

i have had my hood pierced for about 4 years now and the ring has never come out, i still have the same one in i had it pierced with.
