I looked into aftercare and for the nipples it is two months of no touching and for the clit it is three months of no touching :shock: Does this sound about right? Seemed an awfully long time to me?

So far no trouble at all and the holes look closed up. I thought they might be sore or something but they are fine and feeling them is a little different, in a good way

i waited about a week and i couldnt wait no more it was fine really i had no problems
i didnt get no infections or anything it was my long term b/f that was allowed no one else
i still have a hoop in mine but am changing it to a bar as a bar looks much nicer for a vertical and a hoop is really for a horizontal
get it done vertical as horizontal is realy just for the look of it and vertical is where you get the great feelings :D

The horizontal piercing may not give the same sensations as the vertical but I would argue that it does enhance them. The vertical piercing is also the one most likely to result in COMPLETE loss of sensation if not done properly. You know how delicate and sensitive it is, so you have to understand the increased risks

All I would say to that is - somebody that narrow minded is not the kind of person I am looking for anyway!
My ad clearly shows my clit peircing. If that puts someone off - GOOD - part of the weeding out process!

I can imagine someone reading my ad, liking what they read, looking at our pics and liking what they see, then notice my piercing and say "oh no maybe not after all, she has a piercing".
I reckon such people are few and far between - and like I said, those are the kind of narrow minded people you'd want to weed out early!

I don't think it's narrow mindedness, more like fear in a way. I have mental images of condoms ripping against piercings and the bars and rings getting caught and tearing skin. I know that they are designed to be safe but I do feel a bit squeamish about them. I wouldn't say it would completely put me off playing with someone, on the contrary I'm VERY curious about them but there is that wariness in my mind too.

I'd have to think long and hard about the risks of playing with a guy who had a prince albert to make sure in my mind I knew he clean enough and careful too. However, I do this when looking at who I am going to play with anyway, so it something of a hygene habit regardless of peircings!

As you know, i have my nip done.
It was painful for quite a while gem. But i can honestly say that it has never become infected or weeped. If you take good care of it and watch who plays with it you shouldn't have any probs. The jewellery used is titanium and is very smooth all over, no jaggy bits at all so no snagging on anything.
Unfortunately you will have people that think that it it is something that they can pull as far as they can and twist it to see if it twists all the way round without snapping off but a short sharp look at them soon stops this!!! if not a clout round the lug soon stops them
