This may or may not be because i placed an advert...but hear goes.
Not long after i placed it i received an e-mail advertising a completely different site, which is kinda connected to dogging.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Report it to one of the Mods!
Hi Surreycouple
If you let one of the mods have the details, then we can try to sort it out.
thanks biggrin

If you don't use the anonymous e-mail address option it can happen at any time. These people would much rather pinch our traffic than try to build up their own.
I even had a pm from a guy once that started along the lines of "Hi, I'm starting my own free site just like Swinging Heaven and am looking for people like yourself to help build up the forums................". rolleyes He didn't last long.

The ones that make me chuckle are the ones absolutely demanding a link be placed to their site just because they decided to place a link to mine.... I don't mind reciprocol linking... but I only link to genuinely useful and good sites... and I certainly like to be addressed nicely, not commanded by some upstart with a site full of adverts and little else!!!
Thanks for everyone's help. I did actually use the anonymous e-mail option.
