Well - this does look like fun. Ufortunately, I have been working too much this weekend to have played properly. However I DID spot Arti :smug:- though I didn't guess any of the others.
Sincere apologies to Fozzie/Carpathian who PMd me and I didn't have a chance to respond to him before it was all over. I will try to be more available next time.

NEWS FLASH
A body wearing a green outfirt and a pairk of pink knickers was found floating in the river Tiber last night.
Police have identified it as Sgt Bilko.
They are treating the death as suspicious due to the large amount of poison in his body (similar to poisons prevalent during the Borgia dynasty), and also a hammer print in his foreheadâ€¦.. similar to one owned by WBB.
There was a piece of paper clutched in his had, which :nill (thatâ€™s to you WBB)!

I was hoping for next weekend too - much better when we haven't got work to worry about the next day !
Besides, I'm sure most people will agree it was great to see our dear departed Arti put a surprise appearance in from beyond the grave - even if only dropping in for the Ball sad

Well - I really think the Masqerade Ball injected some well needed fun back into the Forum!
And I am not the only one who thinks so, judging by the number of posts relating to it!!!!
I would like to congratulate every one who took part - such brilliant posts folks and wonderful role play.
I was gobsmacked by MissC and WBB! and charmed by No 6.
And as for that Mr Lee - wow he makes me go weak at the knees when he nibbles my neck. wink

I could go on and on about everyone............
We need this type of thing once in a while so we don't take life (and ourselves) too seriously!
