I must confess, they can get in the way when riding, particularly if I'm being lazy. Pommels may well be a nice thing for ladies, but they can be a real pain for guys.
I can't tie them in a knot, but "lefty" does hand a little lower than "righty"
Which is probably a good thing as it helps to avoid the clanging "clackers" syndrome. (Remember the old clacker toy thing???)
Oh - and they feel much better since I started shaving. The only problem with shaving tho, is that the vasectomy scar is quite visible on "righty"
