We’ve just had a new bathroom suite fitted, and there’s an old saying if it aint bust don’t fix it so what’s the bloody point of a pop up plug in a sink? In the past it was simple, pull the plug out and the water goes down the plug hole and you could start drying yourself. Now, due to the fact that the water pressure is greater when the sink is full of water I have to stand holding the plug open until the pressure equalises and it stays open on its own. And I know it was my own fault (although I suppose I could blame my wife) but why have a central mixer tap on a wash basin? Surely the fact that you have a tap either side is the sensible approach, this means when you wash your face you don’t smash your head on a central tap!!!!
Sod it I’m off for a shower.
