any one else had and ecovered form prostate cancer and all the things that it leaves you with , would love to exchange stories

Had my Prostate removed 2017. Cant get an erection but can still masturbate to a dry orgasm!

This is such an important topic and one which is sadly largely overlooked in the media. More men are killed by prostate cancer than women are by breast cancer yet the profile of the two terrible conditions is very different in the media. Luckily there is life after both and it is possible for men to have a fulfilling sex life after prostate surgery.

Interesting subject and i guess you are right that its not spoken of enough. And i like many have No idea of life after surgery and its effects. Love to know more from those with the experience.

I had a Prostatectomy in September 2014. Since the op the biggest problem for me is urine leakage during arousal and I also ejaculate urine. From my side it's not a problem as it is actually quite pleasurable but in terms of meet ups it's not the best selling point really! In one way I am lucky in that using Sildenafil gives me a good hard erection which can be maintained for quite a lot of time. I know that it is not the same for everyone. However the longer the erection, urine leakage increases quite a lot which is fine during masturbation as I can cope with it but again with a sexual partner it is difficult. So as the years have gone by I have increasingly got used to masturbation for sex. Sad I know! But in recent years I have explored my bi side more and have had a few meets to play with other cocks without any reciprocation. Feel a bit awkward getting my cock out as I worry about the leakage. I just have a good wank when I get home!

Bloody prostate cancer! Still it could be worse!

Happy to chat with anyone going through similar issues.

Cheers.

Ps I had robotic prostatectomy with nerve sparing when they took away the prostate. Cancer was on the left side of the prostate so they saved the nerves on the right luckily. I no longer get spontaneous erections but sildenafil works fine for me with arousal and stimulation.

For those who can’t get an erection following prostate surgery, ask your doc to try Caviject. Not pleasant sticking a needle in your cock but soon forgotten when you are pounding your lady, (or fella) to orgasms

Had radical prostatectomy in 2019, same as others, erections not as good as they were, dry orgasms (do miss cumming but hey-ho)and I also leak urine when orgasming. The orgasms themselves are totally different to the pre-prostatectomy ones. The new ones make most of my body tingle which is interesting.

I had a full prostatectomy in December 02. I had quite a lot of the seat the prostate was lying on, removed as well, due to possible migration out of the prostate. This meant that the muscles were removed that are used for erections, so sadly I cannot get one any longer. Masturbation is pretty meaningless as well with a pitiful type of orgasm which is hardly noticeable and very unsatisfying. Like others I am experiencing leaking urine, but am told that if I continue to do pelvic floor exercises that will slowly stop. I haven't tried using Viagra because I assume that with the muscles having been removed there is no likelihood of that working. Perhaps I will just have to become an expert oralist for any highly sexed ladies that I come across. Any offers ?
