We had underfloor heating once. It was crap. You had to wear socks to stop burning yer feet, then half an hour later you had to wear socks to stop yer feet freezing. There was a sockless window of opportunity of 30 minutes per day.

If your gran is going to do a photo shoot and you're worried about the background decor, don't be. Put the word out because there are lots of volunteers who'll come and help sort out any nasty imperfections in your home.

Wow this thread i HAD to reply too.....I always look at the background, the way the styling has been thought about when taking the picture. It shows people have thought about it...and frankly if someone's got stuff strewn everywhere and empty beer cans and half eaten takeaways.....what might their other bits be like??? :shock: :shock: :shock: nuff said
Having said that we have one pic with a hideous carpet in it, not having replaced that room yet!! BUT at least it's tidy. Untidiness drives me up the wall.
