What is the point of a post like this? What are you trying to achieve? I can't see how the website, or it's members are to blame for one's inability to meet people. I would put that down to the content of your profile. With so many single guys around, many with no interpersonal skills whatsoever, it's important to create a profile and a forum-etiquette that makes you stand out from all the others. I feel this claim of the site not working will only alienate you even further. Then again, if you are leaving anyway, it doesn't matter, your post is irrelevant. Which also makes our post irrelevant. Oh my God, I've just wasted five minutes of my life, and my holiday in Barbados replying to something that served no purpose. I'm going back into the pool...

It's always hard to meet people here if your a single male but why rant about it mate? Come on your not doing yourself any favours and people who use and love the site will get their back up naturally.
The law of numbers on here dictates that you stand little chance of getting what you want unless you really stand out. I'm gonna come back and edit this in a little bit after looking at your profile and adds, and I'll be constructive in what i think ok? I call a spade a spade though mate so don't have a rant if I say what's on my mind......

So checked your add out and in fairness I was surprised,I expected to see aone line, a cock shot or no pics at all and poss some lewd language (bit judgemental I know but I did think it as I wandered off).
However....... your add and profile is pretty good, some clear pics, evidence of your sense of humour and looks pretty good.
All I can say is maybe the right "advertising campaign" for want of a better word was not used? I don't know I'm hardly an expert but if your striking gold elsewhere, good luck to you mate but don't do a "rant post" it kind of just gets conversations off that have been done before.
Now, I'm wondering what I've been doing wrong lately lol....

As a " member " he surely has the right to a moan?

He is also a racist, and has made several racist remarks in various threads, but because of the colour of his skin got away with it (in my opinion)...the place is better off without people like him.

I'm not sure how he can claim to have been let down 'by the site' (granted these are your words not his). The site is the same for everyone. If two people have different experiences of it - it must be down to the differences in the people, since the site is the same for both. (Extras aside).
And, to be honest the judgment of a person isn't how many first meets they can get - it's how many people want to meet them a second time. biggrin

People you contact pick up on negativity, judging by your post here you have plenty, so maybe the new site you have joined you are more positive as you are a new member thus getting a meet.
Eventually when you go for a while with no meet on the other site you will become negative there also, it will be inevitable what then happens.
This site works well, we normally only meet single guys and most of the guys we have met have met many others. (note I typed "Most")

The "swinging" side of this site has seriously dropped off the edge in recent years. we occasionally advertise for guys to join us in a hotel (maybe twice a year). The first ad we placed on here when we first joined generated hundreds of responses, the last one ( two weeks ago) ten. the ad is the same and the wording is the same but the response tells its own story.
We like this site because it is where we started - but for swinging - we now go elsewhere.

Joined the site 6 years ago went to a munch about 2 months after. The munch had about 80 attendees. 6 years later we are hosting out own, its still 7 weeks to the munch date and we already have 85 people signed up. There is a mix of older and newer members on the list but more towards the newer younger members. Been quite surprised to be honest. So seems people are still signing up and meeting up, why you are not getting their attention I dont know. Seems getting no meets from here has been a constant for you so you probably are best of somewhere else if thats what works for you.

whilst the shrep thing is underway and is useful in identifying those have done it with each other. there may also be some use in identifying how many people really are interested in shagging. it might help.

Just as a point of note... when I look at a profile, I also look at their forum posts. Generally a person's posting history gives a bigger insight as to their personality than a profile does. A profile is normally written with a view to enticing people to take that next step. Forum posts, for me, are the making or breaking! wink
