I don't have any view on whether the stamps would be a good or bad thing, nor do I want to go over all the arguments about going to war in Iraq.
But this is a great opportunity to remember all those servicemen and women, and many other professions, who risk their lives to protect others. While most of us enjoy a fairly comfortable and safe Christmas, let's spare a thought for those who are defending freedom, wherever they are.

having served in the services it would be with pride that i and fellow serviceman acknowledge the respect and support our family and fellow human beings wish to afford us for the service and security that we all enjoy.
be it a small token like a stamp-it shows that we are not, and havent done it for nothing.!(perhaps the money raised from these stamps could go to service support agencies)
so dont bleat about not supporting our peace keeping and active roles throughout the world when you havent got the balls to do it yourselves.!
by the way, merry christmas and a happy new year to all, especially our men and women in the services.!

If you have never been there you do not know what it was like I was on the Al4 when we liberated some of saddams people. They were so poor that we had to give them food and water, not normal food that you would eat every day but special food to get the body’s working again. It was very tearful sight seeing people like that, yes we had to fight and kill people but they all worked for Saddam personal guard or they were Muslim nuts trying to kill us Iraq is now a better place and able to take is place in the world community.
Let me put it in a way some of you arsoles might understand!
You house, village, town or city is invaded by a dictator. You are made to believe in what they say and do what they want. If you a woman you have no rights and men always come first. You are also made to work 16-18 hours a day in field just to get some food. The police are corrupt and you have to give them money just to go shopping in a car.
Well if you want to live like that so be it move out there.
I will say that the Iraq people are great when they are governed in a normal way they are friendly people I made some good friends when saved mine and others as they helped us clean up the nuttier Muslims

If you have never been there you do not know what it was like I was on the Al4 when we liberated some of saddams people. This is what you, as a professional soldier is paid to do. If you thought that the job would involve violence, why did you not become a bus driver?
They were so poor that we had to give them food and water, not normal food that you would eat every day but special food to get the body’s working again. It was very tearful sight seeing people like that, yes we had to fight and kill people but they all worked for Saddam personal guard or they were Muslim nuts trying to kill us Iraq is now a better place and able to take is place in the world community. Sad, but there are many countries that don't have vast oil reserves that are in this situation that we do nothing about - why is that do you think?

Well if you want to live like that so be it move out there. Again, this is why we pay people like you to do the job. Many of us do jobs that are dangerous and life-threatening at home in England.
I will say that the Iraq people are great when they are governed in a normal way they are friendly people I made some good friends when saved mine and others as they helped us clean up the nuttier Muslims I take it that this is a euphemism for killing them? Nice.
