Dont know if its been done before, (the search thingy is not my friend, it fuckin hates me) but do you or your partner have any strange quirks?
Those odd little things that are unique to one person
My sixteen year old daughter alway wears odd socks confused and has done since she was nine dunno .
Hornyred eats certain foods in certain ways ( you dont wanna know)
I have to have a tea spoon in my tea or coffee or i wont drink it! :dunno:
So,, what are yours??
Tea ... most definitely tea ...... should be good quality tea (English Breakfast is my favourite) made in a china/ceramic teapot and served in a cup and saucer to taste it's best. I will relent to drinking it out of a mug for convenience but for a really refreshing, good, satisfying cup of tea it has to be made properly, milk first, tea second.
On and on the subject, put kettle on while your up ..... ;)

I have a few quirks, some of which are:
I have to eat my food with my knife and fork the wrong way around
I cannot swallow liquids straight away, I have to hold it in my mouth for a few seconds before I can swallow it.
When going to sleep I have to have my ears completely covered over by my hair! lol
Strange I know!! confused
MrGHC calls me a towel tidier, cos I have lots of little quirks, liking things in a certain way etc.
I have to have bread buttered right up to the very edge or else i have to re-butter it
I HAVE to take a drink of water to bed even if i dont end up drinking it
Im constantly making lists, even if I end up losing them or forgetting them!
Well i know i have tons more, but cant remember them at the moment!
Dino
My daughter and yours have the 'odd sock' thing in common!
She refuses to wear a matching pair!!!!!! rolleyes

weird kids confused :?
i wonder if there are any tea making fetish websites out there?
Kit Kat chunkies MUST be eaten by biting off both ends then using what is left to slurp tea through. When the wafer is sodden the chocolate/soggy wafer tube that is left can be eaten. Drifters should also be eaten that way.
I like to keep my socks when my big toe's made a hole in the end. Can't bear to throw them away in a hurry but usually when winter sets in I go out and buy new ones so's my little piggies keep warmer. Then I throw my holey ones away (except for one pair) and start the cycle all over again.
Is that a quirk? :undecided: I thought everyone did that!? redface surprisedops:
I did ask Kitty if she'd darn a pair of my favourites once. Her reply?
F*?^*"Z@>$***
I ask you  dunno

Does it depend on what sort of liquids lol
I dunno if this is a quirk, but I always have to have the TV or Radio on in the background
(Suppose that is a "done thing" when you live alone)

Do you ever poke yourself in the eye with it?
I, of course, have no quirks, everything I do is perfectly normal and anyone who does anything in the remotest way different to me is the one who has the quirk.
Kit only has one quirk, and she will do absolutely ANYTHING for anybody that indulges her quirk. Turns her on so much she becomes a drooling slut at the very thought, moaning and wimpering for sex, over and over again, ready to submit to any carnal desire.
Funny old thing quirks! confused

I just have 1 really, i can't go sleep at night unless the quilt is over my ear confused
But my husband has a very strange one
He frets if is icons are wrong on his desktop lol
Once, just because one of his icons wouldn't stop in the right place he formatted his whole pc

we all probably have loads of quirks we dont even realise - it's only when other people point them out........
I have several that I know of - the two main ones:
after lighting a cigarette, i hold the lighter in the hand i'm using to smoke with - and it stays there until finished, then I put it on table/ in bag/ in pocket etc
'bits in the bed' - if i can feel any 'bobbling' on sheets, or crumbs, or anything else that feels like 'bits', I have to strip the entire bed, flip the matress, put on clean bedding, the works , before i can get back in it and attempt sleep! someone pointed it out to me and i hadnt even conciously thought about it before.....apparently i'm like the princess and the pea story  lol
oh - another one i've thought of - earrings. I rarely wear earrings unless going out - but i have been known to go all the way home for them on a night out if i've forgot to put em in - dont feel right without em

Oooooooooooooh, the bugga - just seen this
Nope not telling, but am happy to own up if anyone guesses right
I have a number of money quirks. I always look at the dates of coins I get in change, and also look at the serial numbers of banknotes. If I get a banknote with three or more of the same number in a row, e.g. 314444, I keep it for a while, just so that I can look at it - I spend it eventually - who can afford to collect banknotes? I also tend to keep loads of change in case I run out of it.

When tea drinking became popular in Great Britain it was the poor who learned to put the milk in first to prevent the low quality ceramic cup cracking. Those who could afford it used the best quality bone china cups and poured the hot tea into the cup first ,with milk afterwards if it seems pretty even through personal choice as to which goes in first, or second as ceramics have come on a bit since then.
My quirk is when i get a plate of food put in front of me i always give it a 1/4 turn to the right!! loon dunno
