i just read a topic in the lets meet up area, and the person somewhat felt the need to say black guys are more than welcome but must be vvvwe. now this is not the first time i have seen this, other ads say black guys welcome and they always feel the need to mention just wondering why this is so, because i was wondering why i always mention that i am a black male and this is most probably the reason why. does it matter what race you are if all you want is a fuck, i mean i understand that we all have our preferences when it comes to what is attractive to us, but having to mention it seems a bit dodgy to me i dont know about any1 else. is it that most black guys are intimidated by white people out there so the white people feel the need to tell us we are welcome? confused please if anyone could just give their views on this
You mentioned the colour of your skin in one of your posts. People have their preferences. End of story.
Age issues, colour issues.......anymore issues you'd like to mention? wink
Vincie.................I agree with you babe !!! Its wrong IMHO

Maybe he'd like to try out the search button? Vincie, have a look through some old threads to see what people think of age/race/other issues.

How can someone who is simply stating their preference be wrong? If they fancy a black vwe guy, surely they are entitled to ask for one?
The posted of this thread felt the need to mention his skin colour. Maybe he thinks it will attract replies from those who like black guys?

i did mention that people have their preferences and i admitted that having preferences is not a bad thing, just as wanting attention is not a bad thing either :P i will surf through the old ones and see what people though from there thanks
No. I think this fella is saying that why do people refer to the stereotype of all black men being well hung.
It a racial stereotype, it isn't true but it is perpetuated....
If someone wants black, fine. If someone wants well hung...then fine. But to use a racial myth... no.. is what i think this thread is saying.

yes
I don't think it was referring to the stereotype Postie (although it could be - the post is a bit muddled - one example of a post where punctuation/organisation could have made it easier to understand, sorry if that offends). He's said himself that he feels the need to mention that he's black and I can't help wondering if that's because the myth might be applicable to him.
I don't think it's offensive at all to ask for a black/white/pink/green man, nor is it offensive to say that said black/white/pink/green man is welcome. Just as it isn't offensive to be specific about age range/size range or any other criteria anyone wants to apply to potential swinging mates.
Vincie, have a look further up the list of threads and get yourself a mentor. They will be able to help you with the questions regarding terminology and searching for older threads you might find interesting or informative.
would you like to be my mentor freckledbird?

I'm not one of the mentors Vincie, there are other people far more worthy than I.
would you care to explain how to get one then freckledbird?
Have a look at this thread Vincie, Mal's the person you need to ask for a mentor:

vincie - you are new and if your post is genuine , then answer it.... don't just come on to FB asking for mentoring as it'll be seen as trolling. You posted a serious topic. Answer it seriously or bow out.
Up to you....
thanks guys
