We must have been away from blighty for too long...
In the 'sticky' regarding the rules and regs for posting, it refers to 'Avatars' not being cocks and kebabs...
Now, Avatars we got, even though we are not the computer literate generation, cocks is pretty damn obvious and hasn't changed, but please please tell us that 'kebab' is not common parlance now?
If we now go to a pub and say afterwards that we fancy a kebab, are we going to be getting ourselves into hot water?
Oh, for a dictionary of the vernacular...
Belles
Perhaps they got confused with their culinary terms and meant to say "knicker bacon" or "beef curtains" ?!
With all due respect Cubes... I don't think belle needed an explanation! :giggle:
It's not a word I'd ever use to describe my flower!
It's ok Belles, you can still order a kebab with impunity (or salad if you prefer!).
All this talk of food's making me hungry!
I've just had to go and see for myself if it actually state's the word 'Kebab's'.... and it does. I have to say... i find it quite pathetic that they couldn't of used a more appropriate word.
Lil
garlic sauce of course lol x
Can I have the healthy option please??
OMG, to call something so beautiful a 'kebab' PURRRRLEEESEEE!
Thanks for the clarification - we can order one with impunity then!
Although thinking about it, we'll never look at one the same way again....
Belles
I'm pretty sure it was a joke and they used it because it alliterates with cock without being the 'c' word that a lot of people seem to get offended by.
