I am pretty new to this forum like you mate and it may seem it a click, but trust me its not. The regulars know each other and with some good reason only offer invtes to those they know or have meet in clubs. Its a fact of life some people don't understand the lafe style and it cause problems for them in other areas of their life.
Well thats my thoughts on it :idea:

Well thats my thoughts on it :idea:

You say you are pretty new, but you are polite and sensible,dont spend all your time moaning about people and certainly dont become rude and defensive withothers.
You are right about only inviting people we know to events (well, we only invite people we know to any social, none-munch events that we organise) but that is because we cant take the risk of inviting someone to either ourhome or a remote location who we know nothing about. It could be someone who may only have joined the forum in the last few days, and someone who for all we know, could be a mad axe murder lol

When we have organised Munches in the past, we normally put a date on and anyone who joined the forum before that date, is welcome to come along. Anyone who joined after the date (which is normally around the date we first advertise the event) can come along as long as one of the other regulars can vouch for them as being genuine.
Those who join in with the chat and have a bit of a laugh with people often get invited to any future events and I am sure that you will certainly get on an invite list very soon! :lol:

Thanks Steph and Wigan,
Just looking for a laugh and maybe connect with a few new people.
There's always a problem when you type as you lose I typed what I thought was a mickey take on bukkake but Vix thought I was possibly being a bit stupid.
Please not knocking her (oops no pun intended) as she doesn't know me from adam as yet but it can be a bit daunting at first.

I am rapidly losing count of the number of newbies who come into SH and immediately start moaning about how few replies to their ads they've had... had little response they've had from other ppl in the chatroom or the fact that the regulars on SH are cliquey..
SH is very much a site that you get out what you put in.......
and btw... i dont think there is such a thing as a clique on here.....
