Reading the signs

Just read a few threads today since we've been to our first munch and suddenly realized how crap I / we are at reading the signs. For instance if someone likes you, how the feck do ya know!!!!!
We've never PM'd anyone to ask for a meet or chat etc because we're too scared lol

so I suppose this is something else we're going to have to learn along with everything else we are still learning since being here rolleyes

and don't anyone post saying my PM box is free, cos we won't believe you anyway :giggle:
Actually I suppose my problem is fear of rejection redface

(I never even make the first move with him, so don't know how I would pluck up the courage on here ffs) and Stormy's problem is he's too damn lazy bolt

So how did you lot get over it ?

totally understand what you are saying, I too, have absolutely no idea when it comes to reading signs
but then there isnt any signs, others can tart for England, but I cant, i make a real hamfisted effort at it, and my insecurities tells me nobody would be interested even if I wanted to
so I have resigned myself to accepting that im here to socialise, and cross any bridge when I come to them

I have now decided the only way I am going to get my point across is to just go naked and jump in someones lap !!!!

I don't usually have problems reading signs but then I'm such a flirt people tend to flirt back :giggle:
My problem has always been when you're with someone that you like, how/when/if to make the first move. I think that if I move in they may take it as being too forward or they haven't yet said if they like you. Then you both end up sitting like a pair of muffins waiting for the other to make the first move.
My first encounter ( a very sexy lady too I might add ) was her first time too and as much as I was dying to just kiss her,we spent ages giggling away like a pair of schoolgirls :giggle: It was that fear of rejection that made me hold off.
and yes my pm box really IS free redface

It's hard for me to understand really. Mainly because due to my lack of social skills, what I think I usually say! lol

I'm sure we all fear rejection on some level, my motto is "You don't ask, you don't get!"

This is my point exactly Sassy. We're both excellent at the flirting bit. It's the HOW bit that is so difficult. Not only that but being a couple would'nt it be awful if I made the first move and she turns out not to be what Stormy's looking for blah blah blah. The list of worries and concerns is endless. Oooooh my life is soooooo stressful :eeek:

However ( and I am sure I am going to keep adding to this as I think of things ... lol) I am very insecure about my naked body so even when I am attracted to someone and I throw signs out there I usually wait for them to make that initial move as I always think "Oh they are just being polite talking to me" Now, that first move can be something as simple as a touch of the hand or a look ... .but I do wait for it.

I don't i'm quite useless at reading any signs. either that or i read them wrong or make up the rest by reading between the lines and usually into a negative.

I have never PM'ed to directly ask for a meet apart from once and only after lots of flirting and being bollocked for it did i finaly go to PM and i still didn't directly ask after that like i said i'm not good at that
