Does anyone else get so attached to peoples online names and avatars that when u realise they are a REAL person with a normal name you feel as though you are being conned????? confused

I hope I am not the only one lol
Just had an email from kinky lizard and am devastated to find he actually has a normal name , aside from the perverted-reptile one!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes,im sure some people do get attached to others very funny if you are out in public and get called or introduced by your nickname.I still get introduced as Tongue to people and they are like oh right ok.
I do tell people my proper name and some people do use it at times,not all the time though.
