Red white or blue?

Being nosey. What colour is your bedding? Do you co-ordinate or just chuck on whatever is clean?
Mine is mainly red - I had a 'hot' phase after my divorce and got loads of red soft furnishings. And I love them.
But if I ever get the same pale, unassuming, 'please don't notice me' beige bedding with a pretty (almost unoticeable) slightly darker beige floral trim that my dear Mother has on her bed I'll personally sign myself into The Shady Evening Retirement Home for the permanently beige.
So what have you got?
Currently silky chocolate brown with cream and burnt orange applique, matching cushions and throw. It's fun watching my kittens slide off it
Colour is obviously a personal thing and can also be seasonal - darker warmer colours in winter, light airy colours in summer etc. In tests it's reported that white is the best colour for your bedding as it's apparently the most relaxing as you drift off into slumber!
Just as long as you iron it all it doesn't matter

You iron your bedding!! It just gets crumpled anyway so what's the point?
Or maybe the ironing is foreplay? :rascal:

So would you prefer a tidy well made bed or the crumpled unmade look with sheets and duvet half off the bed when getting into some one's bedroom? The power of a well made bed bodes far better don't you think?
You don't need to iron sheets to have a tidy bed. Just hang them neatly while they dry. And make the bed each day.
I always lay the duvet back to air the bed - all day since I go to work. But I do like to throw it back over in the evening cos, for some reason, I do like to walk into my bedroom with the bed made.
I also hate to walk in and see open wardrobe doors - drives me nuts to see. I always, always close cupboards, drawers etc.

Fitted sheets, easier to put on but harder to iron lol
Anyway in answer to foxy's original question....
Mine are currently white with brown sequined circles on the duvet and also on 2 of the pillows, complete with camel chenille throw and matching cushion. Currently on the look out for something a bit darker/warmer looking for the coming winter nights...... hmmmmm chocolate and orange sounds a possibility, wonder what it looks like?! innocent
Chocolate brown! I have a bit of a duvet thing... I like nice bedcovers. And I still take em home to my mum to get washed so they get hung out to dry and she irons them for me! I like that they come back and smell of home. redface

Brown or cream ones to go with the bedroom
I iron the sheets too redface
White here too, and I only iron the pillow cases.
Though I have just bought a gorgeous opulent red part satin duvet set that's a little bit gorgeous but its not going on til its more wintery outside. lol

Or cat sick covered  lol I just attempted to take some pics for Sinsi (for ironing educational purposes :lol2: ) only to find that one of my kittens had yocked on the bed :scared: Had to change the whole chabang!! Damned kitties :lol2:
So now we have silky chocolate, cream, green and goldy bedding. I'm not very good with a camera and you can't see the note I wrote but I gave it a go

Have to show silky chocolate and burnt orange another time
Well since s3xyl3xy was so kind to stay u really really late just to take photo's of her bed (complete with I want you in it note! innocent) I thought I better make the effort too! So with great difficulty and research on the SH website I'm now trying to follow Meatys guide to posting pictures!

Thanks to Meaty who IS a genius worship
I have a throw that goes on the bed in winter (when my heating isn't making much difference). It's deep scarlet, furry fleece and is toasty warm, and I love seeing the bed with that pulled smooth over it - looks so cosy and welcoming. I got is from Aldi - it's huge and was about £7. One of those once-only treasure finds.
