and being here for 18 years.... I do know about some of those days..... the first one i use that incident as an example as to why the death penalty should never be brought back.....
the 2nd, 3rd and 4th onse without naming them still have memorials to this day in those towns because people there WERE affected by them, if they wish to keep doing so then that is there decision.....just like the families and the 2999 innocent people killed on 9/11

I remember 9/11 I saw it happen live on T.V I was horrified and upset. Not often do i have a lump in my throat and feel so numb.
I also remember feeling that way the first night the U.S missiles hit Baghdad first time around and again lump in throat and feeling numb for the poor people scared and dying in and amongst those explosions. Do people remember the reporter talking and a missile went past the window behind him!! I can't forget images like that.
There was no expectation from those people that they were going to die that day it was the first time that terrorism had really hit home to the U.S.A. I can understand them remembering it every year and as its reported i too remember it and think just for a moment, how it must of been for those involved,
Maybe its an indictment on our own country that we don't commemorate more the days in which acts like this happen here or even days when acts like this happen anywhere. I am wholly upset for and with the Americans, who by and large I like and most of those i've met happen to be very 'people' like nothing extraordinary just people.
9/11 happened I for one think the original post remembering this was worthy. What a sad day for America what a sad day yes maybe just another for the world but overall what a sad day. To all those who lost and to all those lost if I was a religeous man I would say a prayer, but I'm not. However I do remember and think of them.

That was my original intention deecee. Even mrs777 said it was a deep thread for me.
But I got drawn in and thats the right word, or suckered into a row by someone who deliberatly set out to do that. I fell for it hook line and sinker.
I dont give a toss about the politics all I know is I felt for those people involved in 9/11.
I am learning fast that there are those out there that twist and turn and manipualte even the most genuine of things, including this thread.
I have asked for this thread to be removed and hope it will be, as have lost all interest in it now. Also I know if I continue I will say things I really will regret, and believe me that is what people would really like. I have been suckered once, it wont happen again... Bananas I say.

I agree with you Phuckers, I am a Muslim and these bombs I believe aren't to do with Islam, Islam is a religion of Peace. I can say for the majority of Muslims do not agree with this act or believe it's to do with religion....... on a personal note I lost one of my best friends in 9/11. Fabio knows us well and we are cool level headed people, a number of people are shocked when they learn we are Muslims.... but same in any religion there is good and bad.... the few bad cannot be seen to represent the majority.
