Re...Replying to Adverts

We have only recently joined the Swinging Heaven site, but have found it be very good, and we are enjoying chatting to lots of new friends.
We would like to thank all the people that have replied to our advert, and all the nice comments left on our profile.
However, we have one concern that needs to be discussed. This is the question of Single men replying to adverts, and they have obviously not read the advert thoroughly.
We have made it quite clear in our profile and our advert that we are only interested in replies that include a facial photograph.
This is completely ignored and more than 60% of the replies send no photographs or even more depressing endless shots of their erect private parts !!!!.
What a turn off. Guys you are always complaining that you do not receive replies. We have always tried to answer all of our E-mails but we have now reached a decision that if Guys can not read what we are seeking, then we can not be bothered sending a reply.
There are many genuine guys that always try to comply, but we just do not understand why some guys want to send a standard reply, and have no intention of sending a photograph.
Well thats us finished on our Soap Box. We are only trying to be constructive, and keep the site interesting.

Getting replies to your ad from people you're not interested in is part and parcel of it. I don't think it will ever change, the trick is to not let it get you down! :thumbup:

Glad you're liking the site and good to see a 'thank you' kind of post :thumbup:
As far as the 'people replying having not read the ad.' thing goes - it's 'par for the course' I'm afraid and happens across the board. It's more noticeable with single males as there's more of them/us. I get messages from couples where the male is straight, so they clearly ain't read my profile/ads. when I place them, either.
There's also a lot of 'I haven't got a face pic here but I can send on on MSN or phone' goes on. Bollox to that, I say - I paid to use this place and it has a fairly good and easy to use process for uploading pics so why would I want to be bothered going elsewhere to see them?
Best of luck and don't let it discourage you - like you say, if they can't be bothered to read then why be bothered to reply?

Pretty much what Bloke said, really; this is an ever-recurring topic, and as usual it's the single blokes that get the bad press. Again, as Bloke said, it's simply because there are so many more of those than any other category, but the problem is most certainly not limited to single men.
Just browse through the "single women looking for" category, and notice how many of them are actually adverts from couples.

Sadly a common complaint and there simply is no way round it. There will always be those that can't read and wont follow simple instructions. Just delete them. I'm sure you've better use of your time.

Hello there Dress, and a very big welcome to your now active use of the site.... I see it says 2005 on your profile page!
All I can say is, at least you get responses and messages, we both must be so ugly we never get any!!!!

Probably an old disused user name - it happens sometimes.
2009 is correct as far as I can see :smile:

I agree with you Dress - it drives me fekin potty!!!
I feel very strongly that if i put my face on here then blokies should too.
I don't want to give my msn addy out to all and sundry just so they can post a face pic.
So have decided that no pic no reply and they are probably ugly anyway!!

Welcome to the site.
As a couple who have a 'no guys' in our profile we do not mind receiving an e-mail from them. We have not met any but when no couples are interested its always nice to have mail from someone and every one does receive a reply even if its a polite 'no-thanks'.
