Don't know the title, don't know who sung it!
My mum reliabley informs me quite regularly that most of the Album "Sargent Pepper" and "Rubber Soul" by the Bealtes was in ref to drugs. I should think a lot of 60's and 70's songs have hidden references if you look close enough.
The Darkness have a few songs you could look at on their 'permission to land' album.
<<<<<< goes off to dig out record collection>>>>>>>
Try "The Freak Scene" and thier LP "Psychedlic Soul"

Great band to saw them playing withe The Man from Delmonte.
Well, Motorhead are named after speed really, Motorhead is the equivalent American slang to our Speed-Freak.
And after all, Lemmy loves his speed (Just read his Autobiography, so its still fresh in my mind)
I read that in an afternoon, starts out ok but by the end its just "the bands line up was...."
