Hi. now dont know how many of you on this site have found when you have sent a reply to someone's AD,& you have seen they have read it,yet they have hot even sent a
"no thanks" reply back, Now I find this very rude how long does it take to write NO THANK YOU what 10 secs ? Now with the way this new layout is on this site you dont give away your email addy any more, so why dont people just say no thanks if they are not interested, Now to all the people YES YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE that dont reply back please do so what harm does it do
Would like to know if others feel same way I do ?

No.
Work out the numbers (and read some of the other threads - this has been covered within the last week or so).
If an advert attracts 500 responses (not unfeasible at all), then that's almost an hour and three quarters working at 10 seconds a go. Add to that, the fact that many will be either one-line reponses, or (shock , horror !) just plain RUDE, then just how inclined do you think anyone would be to reply ?

it depends, were they asking for a reply? were u what they were looking for?
was it even an ad????? a lot of people on here have profiles but no ad, and so why should they spend all day replying to replies that they never even wanted?
anyway, i could go on for ages but in the words of the SH cheerleaders "the search button is your friend!!!" and this topic has been done millions of times.

As an aside, this post has really worked me up - am I wrong for feeling that way but I get the impression that this really doesn't do the single guy reputation any good.

Hi see I have caused some of you to think that I just reply to others for the fun of it I dont ok I look for ads that that are asking for guys as for dont have time to reply why then put a AD on in the 1st place we all know we will get replys so why not just be polite to all whats the harm in that ?

Well were sure as hell we have missed the odd reply and if we do and find out later we always say sorry to the peeps.... If the reply is worth a responce as it seems genuine we always reply, even if as you say its a thanks but no thanks.....
If the reply is a chancer and has nothing to do with what we seek in anyway, being honest we now hit the ignore button... Yep the one that does nothing lol.... makes you feel as though you at least bothered lol.. we have tried replying to mail that we didn't ask for like some single guys etc (sorry guys just not our thing lol well not as yet Ooerr) explaining we are not looking at the min etc just to be bombarded with more from the same like your long lost pals!! Maybe this explains why some don't bother!
