Seen the same threads at the top of the board for ages . So thought Id chuck a spanner in and ask one of those questions where i get three replies and then dissapear off the board .
So on balance what do you think , swinging couples or straightforward monogamous couples - in the main who are the most insecure about themselves as individuals ??
As always sweeping generalisations are allowed , and positively encouraged .
Peace Y'all

It's a shame the double negative makes this an exercise in wriiten logic to decide how to answer!!!!! wink lol flipa
In my opinion swinging couples are probably more insecure individually because in a monogamous couple there is less competition and it is easier to "let yourself go" however I think swingers have more fun!

Swinging couples who stay together are the most secure. Monogamous couples who stay together are generally secure but there's always that doubt.
Anyway that's not the reason for answering. The reason for answering is that sometimes (not all) swinging couples (notably the women), who stay together are, to my perception so secure that they are totally flucking insensitive to anyone else's feelings.

2) It was a fuckin dull question?
3) Its one of those questions no one really wants to think too hard about in case they come up with an answer they dont like?

You mean we're too insecure to answer? I disagree, I think we're just too lazy.
Whoops, just proved myself wrong by answering.
On the other hand... some people wouldn't swing due to being too insecure, and some shoudn't for the same reason (jealousy insecurity). That doesn't mean swingers can't be insecure - you get to be the centre of attention (if you're doing it right) and that could motivate some people who feel insecure iin themselves (star-of-the-show insecurity).
Talking drivel. Maybe I should have posted this in the absentmindedness thread.
Ive been looking at this question since sunday night and still cant come up with a smart ass answer,so fuck it , im not looking at it anymore,,,ever !!! confused :? :?

You've compartmentalised them as couples or individuals not one within another.
IME 1 individual within a couple (swinging or monagamous) will always be more secure than the other (or insecure depending on your outlook).
In effect there is no difference between swingers or monogamous. We're all humans so will always have insecurities no matter how hard we try to hide them.

Thanks for the answer . If you read it again the question was really about the individuals involved , and since I mentioned couples then yes by inference I meant individuals within a couple. I didnt really mean by comparison to each other , but by comparison to individuals who dont swing . I understand why you answered how you did , but its no answer really . I invited generalisation seriously as we are all only guessing , but within our own experience if were all thoughtful and honest about it im sure we could all express a calculated guess at the scales tipping one way or the other regarding the men and women and their level of personal insecurity.
