I'm Sappho from North Shropshire and I thought it was time to say hi - how else is a single girl (slim, striking and shaven) going to meet new friends?
Does anything happen in my part of the country? Is there anybody out there? It would be good to know if there are like-minded people in my area.

Got to agree with Kat though, with a nick like Sappho I would have expected you to only be interested in making new friends of female variety too.

BTW - Kit just asked me what the Rabbit reference was about - and now wants one in her chrismas stocking! Saves me trying to think of what to buy her, so cheers for that!

Well, I'm delighted to have initiated such a discussion and yes I'd love to see DJohn in a rabbit costume. Can we tweak his tail? Stroke his ears?
And yes, ladies, I do recommend a rabbit for those lean times when there's nobody to play with - especially a multispeed - but there's no substitute for real contact!
I'm in a gorgeous part of the country - lots of scenery, waterfalls and woods. Well worth a visit!

I already know the answer (it's the same answer as it is every time: "a very long way from here"), but I shall take this opportunity to further my education in British geography. So that's where Shropshire is.

The NW Munch was THE event of the Swinging Season - as you'll read in the Thanks to SteveG thread. About 70 happy swingers gathered in one place to meet, chat and network with no pressure other than to have fun and get to know one another.
Other munches are in the planning stages as you'll see on Let's Meet Up and I can only recommend every SH member to attend them. Certainly makes FriendsReunited school reunions look a bit tame!
There are some damn fine people on this site!
