seasonally adjusted?

Do I sense a little tension in the air over the last few days here in SH?

Could this be a seasonal thing?
Have any of the of the more mature (site-time, not refering to personal ages..lol) noticed any seasonal adjustment, to either the nature of posts/threads >cheery in spring?... introspective in autumn perhaps?< or the responces to threads started?
Im quite aware that my own *general* outlook on life/love/lotsastuff can be influenced by the changing seasons....

Moods definately differ from season to season but in each person the variance is obviously different... I hate the winter and will quite happily shut myself away until the spring... It's all to do with the amount of sunlight we get smile

I do find that I am more lathargic during the winter months and I think that is down to the shorter days giving my body a false impression of it being night time.... dunno

(I was going to say bed time but I know what you lot would say :lol2: )
Either way, I do think that it's not just a seasonal thing, life itself has a part to play... Stress at work/home, being poorly, falling in love, getting a new job, moving home etc all spark differing moods... biggrin

Its called SAD, that is, Seasonal Afective Dissorder. Its a well documented medical condition there is a significant increase in the ammount of people being treated for depression in the autumn/winter months, also most suicide attempts happen at this time of year.. Basicaly if it looks shit outside it makes you feel shit inside!

I don't think my moods are affected by the seasons.........................I'm a bitch ALL the time biggrin

Seriously, though, I've had a few months out for personal reasons, and since my return I have noticed a slight difference. I don't remember people being so quick to jump on others just because they don't agree with something they do or say, but maybe that's just me looking back with rose-tinted spectacles. After all, with so many people using a site, you are always going to get differences of opinion. I don't think it's a seasonal thing, I think it's just normal human nature.

I'm sure there's more people around on here when the nights draw in - stands to reason.
Whether that would make it more tense is a moot point. I think the tensions just come and go.
True that there have been some cracking threads lately.

though not exactly affecting my moods, it'sbeen noted that I have a tendancy to develop the *wander-lust* of a full-moon...
stepping out for fresh air can see me hopping nightbusses and ending up gawd knows where hours later... (and completely sober too!!..honest guv!)
As for my mood, its been all over the shop lately.. highs and lows... most probably not seasonal though...
... Im just a ratty bugger!
Ive withheld posting at times, knowing for sure that Id be coming at the threads from completely the wrong angle!
and I see our satelite (Yes, I know, spelling!) grows bright tonight!!!

An alternative to summer night dogging
I personnally think that when the nights get cold and long, there's no excuse for not opening a lovely bottle of wine, lighting a few sented candles, putting on some soft music and lying on a nice warm rug or quilt, with your friends naked all around you and chatting, laughing, licking and fucking each other senseless
