Hi everyone, sorry if this has been asked in the past but we've not been able to find a similar topic, so here goes with our first ever post to the SH forums... please be gentle with us wink
We went to Kestrels for the first time a couple of Saturdays ago and had a wonderful time there. Unfortunately it's difficult for us to get there on a Saturday but we like the idea of it being couples and single women only. We're thinking about going during the week when they're open later (probably a Monday) but would be really grateful if anyone could let us know what it's like on other nights - does it get busy and are there predominantly couples or single men who go?
We don't mind being watched by a few people and would love to play with a couple or two, but have decided that a dozen single men watching while we play might be a bit much
Please don't confuse this for a misposted Let's Meet topic - once we know when's the best time to go, we may well put something up in the Let's Meet section!
Any replies or PMs will be gratefully received!

sounds like you have the theory right....
I like going to clubs on couples only nites... if im lucky enough to arrange a "date".
Youre bound to meet couples in the same boat.. together with friendly regs at most of the main, busy clubs...
i think they are held purely because they work...
go for ut...
enjoy wink
we actually like single guys and cpls are we odd????????
I have no club experience but how about asking the club hosts? Explain your dilemma to them and perhaps they can point out a few couples and also how to maintain a certain privacy? I am sure you aren't the only ones with that 'problem'.

We clearly need more 'odd' folk like you on SH Princess! cool
Hi folks,
Many thanks for the welcome, the advice and a couple of very useful messages. The only bit that we still need advice on is if people have any not so good experiences when there are too many single guys around... we guess that most of them will be fairly ok/respectful or they would get thrown out (if the hosts are any good) but it's always nice to have this confirmed if possible.
So any other advice or experience would still be appreciated, but we're probably going to give it a go on a non-couples-only night and let you know what happens!
Cheers for now,
A and I xxx
Many clubs have a limit on the numbers of singles they will let in. Most guys also understand no means no. They won't want to jeopardise their membership by pissing couples off. There are rules.
When you say Kestrals...i assume you would mean AbFabs, the club that is run on the Friday and Saturday nights?
if the answer is yes...we have been on both nights, the one for couples and singles and the one just for couples...we haven't had a bad experience on either night...the single guys on the friday are generally well behaved...just a simple "no thanks" is usually enough...and there are always couples on a friday although you will find most are looking for single guys and not just couples to play with.
