erm it was a joke people, we are not quick fixers or obnoxious and take offence at that remark!!!!!!! we where genually trying to put our names down for the munch but if you can`t take nortrhen humour then we won`t fit anyway

I wrote a reply to the last one that got deleted... can't be bothered to author anything long as it might get deleted as well.

I don't think it was politically incorrent and I don't think it was northern humour, I think it just got deleted because it put them in an awkward postion.

english, we`re sorry mate, but up here we take the piss and nobody takes offence, maybe it`s a northern thing, there is no slur on claire n steve it`s just our humour, we won`t apologise for that, maybe just stay in the north

i agree with the above comments, we would all like to go to the munches, but rules are rules and they are only doing what they think is fair.
i personally cant go because of the time i have been on here is not long enough even thou plenty of ppl have asked whether i'm going. but i dont get funny about it. everyone here has been in the same boat and give it a couple of months and i'm sure the answer will be yes if ure patient. good on ya for blocking the post, i hope claire and steve arn't feeling uncomfortable, most of us can take no for an answer.......isnt that the fundimental rule of swinging anyway........no means no- no questions asked.

I have enough friends up north to understand the Northern sense of humour... unfortunately on a forum you can't see the cheaky northern smile that accompanies the usualy rather strong piss taking... which unfortunately means you have to be a bit more tactful.
Although to be honest I couldn't see a great deal in your original thread that indicated it was a piss take of any kind... next time a biggrin
