Well I sat outside a cafe after arranging to meet someone this morning, fully expecting this person to come and have a chat to see if we were interested in persuing things further. I wrote to him 2 days ago to confirm the meeting was still ok and he sent me a message saying it was still ok and he was looking forward to meeting me.
Sadly today I sat there with my very expensive coffee alone. I tried phoning the mobile number he had given me and found it was turned off. He had also given me his works number so I phoned that only to find out that he had gone on holiday till next Tuesday.
To this person if he dares look on here again all I can say is that you are a very rude and inconsiderate man and you have hurt and offended me deeply.
I am a genuine woman looking for a loving relationship with a like minded man and I am sure this man knew what I wanted. He said he visited my area regularly so implying he was willing to meet me on a regular basis.
Sorry for the moan but I just wanted to show the fellas that its not just the women who let men down.

Although it wasnt a nice thing to do and i can undertsand your frustration, maybe a pm to the guy in question would have been better. The let down threads have been done time and time again and we undertstand that all types of people do it, men, women, couples etc. Here have one of these instead :therethere:

I'm sorry to read your thread. This happens a lot it seems.
Guess some people like the idea of swinging and enjoy the chase but don't have the nerve to actual do the deed (sorry sounds a bit tactless)
Hope you're not put off by this.
i find it part of life now

Still think in some cases you should be able to 'name and shame'. It doesnt take long to text/ring.
Hope you have better luck next time.
hi dd,

I know what its like to get angry DD it hurts you more than them to build up those feelings of frustration. Make sure you meet somewhere always to your convenience so if they dont show its not a wasted effort. You are a lovely person so its their loss but as DaveNotts says, usually there are other reasons why people dont meet as life has a canny way of getting in the way.
Take care xxxx
