Yes, but is it another one of the over exaggerated warnings again? Seems to me that these days the Met Office predict horrendous weather, with of course, the warning, "don't venture out unless your journey is absolutely vital" and then you look outside and go "weather? What weather?"
Think the Met Office is in cahoots with Health & Safety these days.

well... lets put it this way.. there are a lot.. and i mean a lot... of worried people at national express.....
the last time they were this worried was the flooding and they got that spot on......
i think the only think that may spare the north east is that it might happen here saturday night/sunday morning.....

They have to decide if its "the wrong kind of snow" or "leaves on the line" which will be to blame for late / cancelled trains.
I know what the problem is; no snowplows on the front of trains anymore. Thomas the Tank Engine always gets through after Gordon the big engine has a run at the snow with a sodding great plow.
