Sex Shops down South

We are somewhere between Portsmouth and Brighton, and need to go shopping! The nearest Anne Summers is in Pompey, and bloody expensive. If anyone knows of other cheaper, and possibly nearer retailers I'd be grateful. I've tried Google, but it keeps coming up with online shopping.
Or perhaps someone knows of an edible massage oil we can buy from a High Street store?
Quite like the idea of shopping for more though. I have no toys *sob*

Bournmouth is far too distant. We are right smack bang between Pompey and Brighton, and are trying to find something closer. Pompy is the easiest, so if that is the nearest we can get, then an alternative to Ann Summers would be useful if anyone knows of one?

There always used to be one on Albert Road in Pompey, but I'm not sure if it's still there...
OK - just did a quick websearch on it and found this site...

Apparently there are two sex shops in Portsmouth, the aforementioned one on Albert Rd and one on Commercial Rd opposite McDonalds (handy if you're peckish after the drive rolleyes

)

Been to Brighton loads, they have a few places in/near 'the Lanes' but you'd have to probably do a search on that area in Brighton cos I can never remember the names of all these little shops!!! ( I do remember on down North Lane that stocked alot of bondage type gear) hope this helps biggrin

There is a Private Shop as well as an Ann Summers in Commercial Road Portsmouth, the Private Shop is a few doors down from McDonalds so you can imagine the horror of the local rag when planning permission was applied for. Apparantly by having a sex shop near a 'family resturant popular for childrens birthday parties' would bring the world as we know it to an end. Hope this helps.

Only problem with Ann Summers is they can be rather expensive for some of their gear. Certainly in Brighton the number of adult shops is continuing to grow despite the growth of on-line shopping

Surely there must be some sex shops in Sussex! Try Upper Dicker, but maybe not Littlehampton.

Apparently I heard Littlehampton does have one, and it would be the nearest, but it's well hushed up, and I can't find the address! Most of the searches I've done for the area go along the lines of 'Sex shop application shocker', and 'Local residents squash Sex shop horror'
Ho hum.
Can't shop online as I don't use credit or debit cards, and I left it a little too late for EBay.
Pompey it is then.

Get yourselves down to Brighton - there are 3 or 4 - Tickled, She Said (very classy), (just down from the station) and a couple of others. Have a weekend of erotic shopping! There's also an exhibition by the Guild of Erotic Artists during the festival!!

Well, we went to the Private shop in Pompey, and are bloody glad we did. They have a sale on. We bought a vibe with balls and stuff inside and a bloody great handle worth 50 quid for a tenner, a simple vibe worth 20 quid for a fiver, and a this bloody HUGE vibrating strap-on worth 80 for a 15 quid. Thing is we didn't look in the box before we bought it, and on opening it at home the thing scares the shit outta even me :shock: :shock: :shock:
and I've had babies :scared:

Sorry to piggyback on this thread but i bought this wonderful ermmm, well it is like a bullet with something that vibrates in it and it has a lead that connects to these buttons that make different speeds etc, well mine broke (hee hee don't ask me how i did it).
I was wondering if any of the ladies on here has one and if so, which type have they got? I'd like one that is not breakable please.

just been reading the thread, late as ever, lol sorry.
funnily enough, i live within walking distance from the shop in littlehampton.
If it helps, its opposite Woolworths in surrey Street.
finding their phone number is proving to be difficult tho, so ill just pop in there when i pop into town next.
Other than that, there is only Pompey or Brighton for sex shops and anne summers etc.
In Brighton the sex shop is right near the station if no-one has already mentioned.
If you need directions, feel free to ask
