Glass toys are great; they have weight which is different, they are ultra-smooth/slippy, they can be put in the fridge to get them cold or the dishwasher/hot water to warm them...so a whole bunch of things.
Double enders are good also, you've gone for a mid level size, only you can know if this is too big or too small...depending what you want to do with it
