What do you prefer to get out of the SH community?
As has been said before in this thread, all options are good.
IMO the thrill of just meeting someone and having sex is amazing, not knowing what you are going to do to each other means you have to explore and generally have a far more sensual experience.
But then it is always nice to get to know someone, chat about what you enjoy/don't enjoy and also have someone to chat about things you have tried that may not have and visa versa.

I had never thought about the "diference's" until I read the thread and I've been sitting thinking about it for the last half hour.
When I was younger it was all about sex with "strangers", the only reason i went out to pubs and clubs was to get laid, I never went looking to get to know anyone seriously. And when I first started swinging it was one letter, one phone call and then a meet. Sometimes I got really friendly with my "contacts" and one couple in particular, we used to play every weekend for a couple of months but now Im sitting here remembering, the more friendly we became the less sex became the driving force it once was. We had used sex as the basis for our friendship and now we were friends the sex sort of withered away.
Other couples I met on an infrequent basis were much more exciting and the sex more dynamic and enjoyable.

Like wise .... I'd rather know someone a bit first----- but then if someone I knew said oh yeah .... they can be trusted - then I'd go for it and have a bl**dy good time.
So I guess for me it would always depend on circumstance.....
It's like the strange feeling when someone offers great sex on a plate--- sudden distrust?????
But when you've had to work at it and gain their trust and confidence and they finally say yes please........ well isn't it better then?????
Or are we as a society becoming more and more distrusting in people?
Do we wonder what everyones motives are --- when all they wanted was a good shag...lol
