Bit of a a spin-off from the SH FFS thread where the general chit-chat in the cafe was questioned.
There's a bit of a running theme on here that if you want to meet people for dogging swining etc. it's best to get to know the community and attend munches. I don't have any probs with the off-sex topics that get discussed on here. The way I see it is that if you have any problems with the SH community then leave or make it better by example.
But.. to my point...
I don't want to know the people I meet. Sure I want to be friendly to people and vice-versa, I want to check they're not mad axe-man and stuff but the buzz for me is the fun with people I don't know. I think that people assume that if you come on here for a quick shag then your some kind of desperate bloke who can't get it anywhere else. Doesn't it spoil some of the fun if you've met at Munches beforehand? I prefer to have sex with people I know through normal life if it's going to be a friend. Secondly, I don't have the time to be on here enough to build up a social relationship.

I had a feeling I was in the minority.
Having said that, I'm looking from a single male perspective here.
I have a friend coming out with me soon (girl-friend but not girlfriend) and i'll be more concerned about meeting somebody I know then but even so I'm not really interested in knwoing their previous 5 cats and the colour of their bathroom beforehand. i just want to check that we're attracted to them and that they aren't too weird. So would still fit in 2nd category.
I went for the second option btw.

why should the single guys perspective be the same as yours????
i am also a single guy but i like to get to know people, i think you hit the spot when you said that you are not interested nor have the time to get to know people... even if i am not on long i try to make the effort to know people....
for me personally i feel that if i know what makes people tick then for me it works better....

Personally it depends on what mood I'm in.... sometimes sex with strangers is fantastic but there are other times when it's absolute crap - normally when you don't know each others likes/dislkes etc.

Personally I have no interest in sex with strangers, and I'm a single male too, so it's a matter of individual preference rather than the fact that we're male and single.
