Sexual developement with age

I once heard that men were in their sexual prime at 18. Women in their 30's. Whilst I realise that everyone here, no matter how young, or old, are extremally liberated sexual beings, I have to agree that I have never felt more sexual, and confident than I do now. I'm 33. I'm interested in when others here felt they hit their peak?

I think I am at my peak although I might say that in another 5 years and say I didnt know what I was talking about back then?? who knows confused

I mean what I said. The difference between being sexually inexperienced but highly fertile and energetic; and sexually experienced but oriented towards deriving pleasure, fulfillment and self actualisation.

I think we live our lives initially wanting to fit the "perfect citizen" mould but hit a point where if we dont start doing whatever we want to, it will be too late. Its an old cliche I know but its soo true, "Only regret the things you havent done!"
I hit this point at 27 years old and started to take chances and be a sexual being. Some people will never be that way. Women in general find it a more difficult outlook as they face the age-old label of a being called a "slag" etc. GO FOR IT!

Ive just hit 30 and even though i'm starting to get more forgetful and tired when it comes to sex it seems to get better and better.I definately think i havent peaked yet and i was never at my peak at 18,god no i was a lot more clumsy sexually then.

I don't think I peaked until the kids left home. I think i'ts got a lot to do with being uninhibited and freedom. That for me also included getting rid of the fear of pregnancy (got him done)
and sex just gets better and better with age, coupled with experience and confidence.

If only I knew then what I know now.
I would have had my male peak at 18 and then gone into a slow decline until age 30.
Quick sex change and away we go again at full revs.

I find that sex gets better and better as I get older.
It may be that I am in less of a desparate rush these days, but it's definitely more satisfying,

well by that theroy i peaked 6 years ago... ive barely even got started!.
well i'm a lot more frisker than i was when i was 18.. they were the "if i can last 2 mins i'm lucky" days..
i deffo have not yet peaked. cause i feel i have stil getting better (well thats my personall thought. others might stil thing i'm "a Crap Shag", mentioning no names!). and i plan not to peak until i'm at least i'm 85.

Hmmm sexual peak? i'd gone along with the thinking that it get better as u get older - soooo i'm thinking now i'm 23 and i've years left to perfect my style biggrin

Depends what you mean by "peak".
At 20 a man makes love all night cos he can't stop himself.
At 40 he makes love all night cos that's how long it takes. ;)

Oh, I dunno, it just suddenly dawned to me last night that I have never felt more open, confident or aware of how much sex has to offer me as I am now, and I came over all 'blooming'.
I have no doubt there is still a great deal to try etc, but my approach to it all feels fantastic. :bounce: I'm not so hung up about it all as I was in my teens or 20's. I think 'liberated' is the word I'm after. smile
