I'm not talking about shagging a trumpet or getting the hots for a piano ( weirdos rolleyes )
I've been listening to John Martyn and one of the tracks had a sax playing in it and it gave me goosebumps. There's such a sexy sound to a sax :inlove: I also like guitars played well , al la Chris Rea on Nothing To Fear from God's Great Banana Skin album or Floyd's Crazy Diamond.
Is there a sound that makes you go all dreamy and chilled when you hear it?
I adore the clarinet and violins smile
The sax solo in Hazel o'connors Will You..

Yeah-"I'm gonna cuuuummmm!!" ;)
I actually like a guitar solo, be it in the middle of a song (GnR- Sweet Child O' Mine for example) or Jeff Buckleys version of Halleliuah. A good friend of mine recently did a "gig" and sang this. Moving. ;)

I may have done Choon ol' buddy-it wouldn't be the first time I have ended up "home" in a house that wasn't mine confused (There's a pic of me somewhere after one International, trying to use my key to get into some strangers' house-my "friends" had convinced me it was mine btw- draped in a Welsh flag with my jeans around my knees! redface rolleyes )
I can't read any more of this thread - had 3 orgasms already.
Jimmy Page's guitar on 'Since I've been Loving you'
Peter Green's on 'Need your love so Bad' - 'Oh Well'
Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Dover
Slash - on most things

or Floyd's Crazy Diamond.

this isnt a *stalking* post!!!
saw the Floyd years back, and they played this.... it was a genuinely moving moment in an altogether brilliant gig!...but then, thats the song in general for me...not neccessarily the guitar....
but I do love me good guitar stuff....
