Apologies in advance if this has been done before....can't find anything that allows me to look up old thread titles.....I'm sure someone will tell me if i've messed up!!
Do you think sex appeal crosses over from one sex to the other....if men find someone sexy, will women too?
I'm worried that this is a stupid question...but it intrigues me.
Actually it does make sense to me.....but I have had a big glass of wine!
Of course it's an individual thing....I do appreciate that....I just wondered (sort of out loud) if any of the sexiness that one sex perceived would cross over to the other sex.
Now I'm not making sense.....could be because i find Minx's picture terribly attractive :giggle:

I met a woman once who I did not find attractive or sexy, but we were in a group of friends who went back to my mates mums house and it got a bit rauncy and she stripped off, put a dildo up her and crawled accross the kitchen worktop, it still rates as one of the most sexy things I have seen. Strange really, a woman I found unattractive doing something that made her very sexy.
And before you ask, yes we did have sex, but so did everyone else!.
:embarrased2:
Oh dear I'm a bit embarassed now........
Sod it...no I'm not, it's a lovely picture.
So there.

Confused?
....me too and I started the thread!
Am off to bed....
x
Doesn't it depend on the sexuality as opposed to the sex of the observer?
A straight woman is unlikely to find a woman sexy although she may acknowledge that by common standards she is. But if she's bi or gay then she'll find her as sexy as a straight man might.
Shit I'm confusing me now.
Binxy, got any more wine in the bottle?
.
Sorry to cause total confusion and then go to bed!
Didn't mean to be confusing...........
If you look at men's magazines (I mean the men's health type not the slightly harder porn type) the women in them are a very definite type. Invariably they have big boobs, lots of hair, lots of make-up - you know the type of thing. However, if you look at women's magazines, the women in them are of a completely different shape and presentation. Usually very thin, generally shorter hair, more natural make-up.
Now the question is, are the men's magazines catering for men's taste and giving them what they want or implying that that's what men should find attractive? Equally, are the women's magazines catering for what women aspire to or dictating to them.
I'm not sure you can say gay or bi women have a 'type' that they find attractive, just the same as you can't say that all men find a certain 'type' of woman attractive. It's a personal thing. I once read that each 'type 'only appeals to 5% of the population, so I would say that that would be true for either gender, whether they were looking for the same or the opposite sex. Although I would argure with it because, if Angalina Jolie only appeals to 5% of the population I may aswell become celebate now!!!!!
