Don't really care, because I don't watch James Bond Films........just far far too cheesy!
But..........If they had of cast Clive Owen in the role, yes I would have watched it, and may even have bought the DVD :swoon:

By all accounts he was a bit wimpy on the set regarding stunts. Brosnan did a lot of stunts himself that the new guy wouldn't do.
Also the day he was announced when he was brought in of the Thames in a speedboat by the marines and said that he shit himself on the boat.

Interesting question, as I've always thought Daniel Craig was an unusual Bond choice. Clive Owen would have been a far more obvious choice. It's occured to me that perhaps they're trying to make Bond a bit more 'rough and ready'. I certainly don't think he's wimpy - just not as suave as the previous Bonds we've come to know and love.
Lots of people were unhappy about Roger Moore at first too....

not only looks wrong for Bond, but his acting was so bad that I actually turned off King Arthur before Keira Knightley even made it onto the screen, quite an achievement for any "actor".
