I can't be bothered with the shaving lark so I use a beard trimmer and take it down so that the balls, shaft and crack are near smooth and the rest short. Trying to improve on this I tried Veet home wax strips and they work adequately but leave a few hairs that can be plucked out. It was less painful than I thought, definately doable so now I am considering a salon sack-and-crack wax. If you need smooth for whatever reason I think this would be the way to go.

I found the venus razor is very good, and if you keep on top of it it doesnt itch as much!

the one i use takes around 6 min and it already gets a bit hot on the balls. 15 min would be
