After the worst June weather on record it took us over three hours to get home... Eckington was flooded... everywhere seemed to be flooded... my sister-in-law is stranded at her office in Sheffield... RAF rescue whirlygig helicopters keep flying overhead...
Is Mr and Mrs FB okay? other Sheffielders?
Big hugggggggggggggggggs
We're Ok, stuck on the island that is where we live now. Our two kids are stranded in Sheffield at their mates' house. Took Chris almost three hours to get from Tinsley to here. confused

I was thinking about you when I was driving in to work this morning. But now you have posted you've saved me the cost of a call. lol wink
Glad you are all ok FB. kiss
Kids are still stuck in Sheffield and most of the schools are closed - I wouldn't have been working anyway today (mine's closed). My parents have no electricity but are otherwise OK. I've never known anything like this sad
Hope all is on the way to being OK. I've heard about others in Yorkshire being evacuated to Emergency Centres.
I can send some rations if needed?
kiss

Yes, one of the reservoirs is threatening to break so they have evacuated 300+ people to the comprehensive school near to where I work.
Shall I drive up and stick my bum in the hole ... should sort it out then.
DD lol
we are good thx...got my hair wet though. lol
We had mini flooding - the rain managed to overcome the window seals and partially flood our living room whilst we were at work sad , we're just waiting to see if it lifts the laminate now, think we might have just caught it in time.
Apparently it was supposed to rain again today but its all blue skies so far - hope it stays that way!!
hey did not know how bad it realy was till i saw the papers ,hope your al ok up there and we are thinking about yous.
There are still plenty of flooded roads here in Hull and in some of the surrounding villages the water level is still rising.... sad
saw the football ground on the news last night- looked more like a swimming pool.
glad you are all ok kiss
