have to say I'm a bit of a girly when it comes to shoes 
and before you start, no doesn't mean I have lots of girly boots!, just have far too many pairs of shoes!!.....
but on this point, why is it that girls have such a fetish about buying them, it's along the same lines as handbags ?????

erm i dont care what i wear on my feet (which i know isnt girly) as i have bad legs so cant wear any heels, mainly i live in trainers and walking boots

Call me an ignoramus redneck but I haven't got a clue what these brands are like / cost / or where to buy them .... typical bloke I guess.....
I used to spend a fortune on clothes in my youth .... £100 shirts .... £200 jeans .. it was water off a duck's back in the pursuit of fashion . these days you'll find me in a comfortable pair of jeans and a casual t-shirt most of the time..
Shoes?? ........ a pair of sneakers, a few pairs of casual trainer-like fashion pumps, some 20 year old brogues that I just can't seem to throw away ... and my sandals for when it's hot.... all adds to a '40 y/o trying to be 20 again grunge look' ... hehehe
Warming the Bed
Wishmaster grant me a wish that my other half loses all knowledge of such brands. Sadly each of those brands requires its own credit card.
I am quite happy to stick with my six or seven pairs of shoes that suit all occasions....it doesn't seem to rub off on the fairer sex though!

Then again when they put them on and the change in attitude is palpable, the smile enormous, well, the money doesn't seem to matter as much. I do think that it needs to be firmly tied to some form of reward scheme though....

I have seriously got to get me a pair of New Rock boots. They're huge (literally), they make me look taller than I am, they're kinda goth lookin' I guess (ain't nothing wrong with goths though). They are the most kick-ass boots ever :twisted: ................ not that I actually go round kicking peoples asses, that wouldn't be very nice of me

I adore shoes that have ankle straps, ones that tie around your ankles are even better! I really love the idea of shoes being bondage for feet. Ideally something with a thin heel that can be dragged lightly (or hard) across someones back.....and then rested against their shoulder when they finally start to untie them.
