Here is ours...

Not the best effort we've ever made, but for our first christmas together, it's not all bad. lol

It's like one of them chinchilla animals, all fur. Once you've got it wet and had a house full of the other half's work mates after boozy night out... well the tree just doesn't look the same somehow. confused

Still it's more than we've got at the mo! Last time we put the tree away, Morbius lobbed it to the back of the loft, and as our loft is in 3 ft high at it's highest point and Morbius is 3ft wide at his widest point (oops that's me on Santa's naughty list) he's avoiding going into the loft!
I might need to trade sexual favours with someone who'll crawl into my loft for my tree soon :twisted:

It trips off the tongue soooooo much better than RO!? :P ))) I've been tellin' Gem we're doing a tasteful tree for our first, and it has the smallest amount of fairy lights permissible. It's a bit of a compromise, seeing as how me bed has more fairy lights on it than you can shake a pointy brown thing at. rolleyes

DG, Gemmie wanted to put the tree up some months back. I got all manly, and put me foot down, and so our tree does actually have twigs on it. There's even the odd needle left, which is good, cos our vac's broken, so fook knows how we're getting 'em out of the carpet.
Oh, and it's not our living room up there. Ours has magnolia walls, with a massive great tea splatter all up one of 'em. Last time we have a Chrimbo do all back to mine in our 'ouse I can tell you. evil

It seems that I have one this year!! lol

And it is FULL of decorations / lights / and a small child's toys!! althuogh he keeps wanting the toys back to play with !! and all this is in a Buddist household!!
I will try to get you a photo of it.

Apparently it's too dark and cold now! I've told him that if he doesn't go up tomorrow I'm going to go and buy a new one (that'll be three we have then) and all the trimmings and put it on his credit card!

We've gone low key this year, the kids main pressies (Ipod nanos) we got off ebay fairly cheap, and neither are "I want" kids thankfully, they are both happy to get what they are given smile

My mum on the other hand rolleyes

makes your pile of pressies look small LOL
We tend to go for fun things than monetary too, we find the kids react better!

I'm quite lucky (?) in that I don't have a big family to buy for... there's just my mum, dad, brother and my doggy. So then it's just my mates!
My mum told me not to buy for them this year but I couldn't not. I just got them something small to unwrap on Christmas day and made up a voucher to take them out to dinner in January since I'm not having Christmas at home this year. :mrgreen:
