I admit I am thick before we start.
shrep is doing my thick head in. Would someone please explain in simple terms how it works. I have actually left comments and now cant seem to repeat what I did ( Whatever that was)
Just a very simple easy to understand way of doing it please.
Again I admit to being thick and probably the only one on here who doesn't understand it. But thats me.
Key words are ... Simple, easy to understand, and I already know I am thick so dont need reminding.

This is a quote from the shrep page:
you can see the feedback and statistics left by other members for this member. This page displays all their rep providing it is set to public, to view only a specific rep type select it from the filter box below.
Meet Rep can be left after creating a meeting with this member, to arrange this click here. Site Rep can be provided after sending two or more messages, you can send a message by clicking here. To leave this member a Vouch, you need to become friends first by clicking here.
New: You can now display your individual Shrep profiles from SH on any other sites on the net that they use. Including Forums, Blogs, and social networking sites. Click here to find out how to share your Shrep.
Ok. The hyperlinks aren't there, but it seems straight forward to me.
1. You can see the feedback and statistics left by other members for this member. seems straightforward enough to me.
2. This page displays all their rep providing it is set to public. If the other member has decided to hide their shrep by using their privacy settings you wont see what you have wrote.
3. To view only a specific rep type select it from the filter box below. A simple filter facility, no different to itunes or any other database. Shouldn't be much trouble with understanding this.
4. Meet Rep can be left after creating a meeting with this member, to arrange this click here (HYPERLINKED) When you arrange a meet put the details in here about the date/time. when that date/time has passed you will be able to give feedback specific to that meet.
5. Site Rep can be provided after sending two or more messages, you can send a message by clicking here. (HYPERLINKED) If you send two or more messages to each other you can provide reputation based on how you found the people on site. Click the hyperlink.
6. To leave this member a Vouch, you need to become friends first by clicking here. (HYPERLINKED) If you can vouch that the other person is a genuine member of the community you can leave feedback to that effect by following the link
7. New: You can now display your individual Shrep profiles from SH on any other sites on the net that they use. Including Forums, Blogs, and social networking sites. Click here to find out how to share your Shrep. If you want to use your shrep on the other sites the owners run you can do, just follow the link.
Not everyone has Shrep enabled, so that might be why you can't seem to repeat what you did for others.. Both users must have it enabled for you to be able to leave comments.

First go here http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/members/shrep/settings/ and press the "Enable" button.
Then go here http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/members/shrep/leave/ and press the "Submit" buttons. cool
I'm sure this must have been mentioned before - but please bear with, as I have been camped out for several years, in a postcode not covered by SH, and only just heard of Shrep this morning.
My simple understanding is that if you are Shrep you get to snog Cameron Diaz and live happily every after with Antonio Banderas wearing a pretty cool hat. No?

When it first came out I thought you got a snog off of Sarge and get to play with his keys confused :? wink
There's been enough threads in The Cafe over the years since Shrep was launched, for the answer to the original post to have been answered.
However for thatguy2 and others benefit, there are a series of Shrep users guides posted in various places.
Probably the easisest to get to are those on the New London and SE Group's http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/groups/7095/ own Forum (http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/groups/7095/forum/cat/7095/ ), with threads covering
 Shrep - VOUCH REP - How to do it
 Shrep - SITE REP - How to do it
 Shrep - How to create meetings
 Shrep - MEET REP - How to do it
together with useful ones on
:arrow: Using :: Notes
 Chat and Whisper Guide
all of which supplement the usual i help panelsthat already exist.
Hope all this helps
