II run a junior football team which takes up SO much time that it sometimes makes me wonder why I do it but it makes it feel all worthwhile when the lads tell me how much they enjoyed a training session or something new we did during training.

Fabioplum, the local guy who runs our local kids footie is a star, we are all amazed at his dedication and the time he gives up. Blue is always helping him as a way of saying thanks for putting so much in to our community. Well done. worship

Little things so far this year that have made me go :bounce:
After having coal fired heating for years (no gas in the village) I can now get warm just by pressing a button! It's like magic!
Finding out that "my" ship was coming into my local port- on my birthday! :bounce:
I get really excited about the prospect of seeing mates that I've not seen for almost a year, and the fact that she'll be moored locally over my birthday is extra cool. cool

I get to catch up with peeps, dress like a pirate & make a wally of myself!

Silly things that make us excited?
Well I'm not sure I have enough time to list all the 'silly' things that make me excited - I'm sure I'll mature one day!
Seeing my cat run across the garden to me when he's been out all night.
Waiting for, then receiving my new clogs from Germany a few days ago.
The lead up to the day a book is published by one of my favourite authors. (And going to bed early to read my new book.)
Re-seeding the lawn last summer and running out to check it's progress every evening after work.
My first harvest of home-grown tomatoes.
Having new windows and doors installed this past Tuesday and Mrs Kiss and I keep inspecting them - the novelty is yet to wear off.
Getting up really early on a sunny Saturday morning knowing you've got the whole weekend to yourself.
Restocking the numerous bird feeders in the garden then hiding behind the curtain waiting to see the birds eat.
Going cycling on a summers evening with Mrs Kiss and getting up enough speed to lift the bike totally off the ground by going over speed bumps. redface

Perhaps excited isn't right, it's more a little hand clap of glee in the head but..
The duck wand and disposable pad with blu impregnation toilet cleaner, I can happily load that little pad into the jaws of the wand and swish with an inner warmth that the old fashioned toilet brush just didn't provide.
