'single' couples

There have been many threads about 'single' married men and 'single' married women but none that I can find about 'single' couples. Those of you who know our situation know that Nat and I are not a 'couple' in the sense that we don't live together but are lovers, I suppose is the best turn of phrase.
My question to couples is, does that fact put you off meeting? Would you be less inclined to meet a 'couple' whom you knew to be two singles rather than, say, a married couple?

The only way that a couple can be two singles is if they are fuck buddies. You're either a couple or you're not. You don't have to live together to be a couple though.
As to whether we'd meet them, it would depend on the 'couple', same as it would for any other couple.

Why? What difference does it make if we're the same two people who turn up? I'm not suggesting we say we're a couple then only one of us shows, I'm wondering if couples are put of meeting a couple who aren't in the strictest sense of the word ' a couple'.

No I donâ€™t see why it would.
I canâ€™t imagine many people asking to see marriage certificates or proof of joint cohabitation before arranging a meet.

I dont see any problem with it personally, id view you too as a couple beacuse you obviously have some kind of relationship, even though its not what you call a conventional couple relationship. I think that it would be different meeting two single people who dont really know each other but have arranged to go out on a meet as a couple. We havent had the pleasure of meeting with another couple yet but for me the chemistry between a " couple" which you can only get from knowing and spending time with each other is the sexiest thing about a couple. So no it wouldnt put us off.

I'm not interested in the paperwork or where you both live. If we were looking for couple's their interaction with each other would be important to me.

H, although not a conventional couple you two are still a coupe of sorts...i mean, youre not fuck buddies are you? youve known eachother a while and theres a connection there? you dont have to be married or living together to be a couple do you?
i would not be put off meeting a couple like yourselves, i would only be put off couples who werent actually a couple, as in if they hardly knew eachother or were meeting eachother for the first time at the same time as meeting me...........if that makes sense?
