Some of us actually like single males and feel they are being made to feel outcasts in this community.
I have opened this tread for people to show solidarity with single males and say :

I agree with Midsprincess.
Single males have certainly served their purpose with me on occasion and long may they continue to do so!
As for some of them not doing themselves any favours, this is true, though I find the same can be said for some couples. I think it's more a case of who has social skills and who doesn't rather than their membership status. Maybe the single guys just stand out more as there's so many on them?

We have met single males and thoroughly enjoyed their company. The last thing we'd ever do is advertise the fact that we're prepared to do so as we'd get flooded with offers from every single male in the southern half of the UK. We prefer to get talking to people in the chatrooms and select the single males who can string a sentence together, don't whisper without asking and show a certain level of respect.

We meet single guys(we've yet to find a cpl or single female who will meet us :lol2: ) and we have yet to find a bad one (out of the ones we have actually met that is) so either we have chosen well or they aren't as bad as some make out :lol2:

***NO SINGLE MALES WANTED DO YOU UNDERSTAND*** type phrases you find in the profile description area thingy.
Why on earth not just a simple - thank you for looking at our profile but we are not lookin at present. There is far too much issue made by couples regarding not wanting single males. especially when a lot of the time I believe its the male part of a couple that takes issue. Well he is lucky as am I to be one part of a swinging couple.
BTW we do enjoy the company of single guys - as with all people some are arseholes most are decent.

Yes single males get a bad press on here, but God do some of them deserve it at times.
In chat some of them are just down right rude and nasty. They whisper without asking, in fact a lot are just complete arseholes but.....there are many decent honest guys out there, and a few we have met.
There is room for nice guys on this site, and no room for a few of the tossers out there. I am just glad that our experiences have been good ones, but maybe that is down to our own intuitions, and the way we go about weeding out the losers.
There are far more nice guys on this site, than there are idiots but....sometimes it is the minority that spoil things for the majority, which happens in all walks of life.

Have to say that is one of my biggest pet peeves! it borders on being really rude and condesending ,so when a couple approaches me and with that in there profile, I point it out... and then say thank you but no thank you.
yes there are loads of single men here, and yes they can be arses at times, but i've seen as many couples with as bad an attitude
if i judged all couples on the ones that had stood me up you'd all be rightly annoyed.....

That's probably because the couple have already tried that and it's well known that single males can't read unless it is in yer face and in capitals.
Now before anybody has a go, I'm practically a reborn single male, as Angelica is taking time out at the mo' (even though she'll be coming to a gathering or two). So I'm likely to be experiencing the thin end of the wedge for a while. So thank you Midsprincess - truly a princess.

Bless it is hard for them to find their way into the good books, some are just clueless, and some are clearly married or attached, but it doesn't take a genius to sort the wheat from the chaffe .
I'd just ask that all members read the profiles and Ads before whispering or pm'ing, it saves answering the same questions over and over and also saves them the hurt of a no thankyou xxxx

As there are 100 single guys to every couple...my opinion, if you are more likely to meet guys then the percentage of wallys increases.
I never said that couples and single fems are idiots, as we know there are a few who could well be but....the stats show that single guys are a bigger problem on sites like this, than couples and single fems, purely maybe because of the numbers.
This thread IS refering to single guys, so why bring up couples or single fems? If it was about them I would have made a comment like I just have. The op was asking about single guys......simple really.
