single older guy at swinging club.

I am thinking about going to a swingers club for the first time, i will be on my own and as i am 67 years old would i be excepted, the club i am thinking of trying would be chams at darlington . am thinking of trying at afternoon first of all, as anyone any tips please

Hi, as a single guy approaching 40, i find it hard to socialise with cpls to leave them alone in the social areas. Tend to rely and hope for cpls or small groups playing in open areas to watch or join in. Too many closed private rooms for my liking. If you go in the afternoon till late evening you will usually find cpls playing at some time. Have to be patient and always on the move. Can get very busy sometimes and other times very quiet.

I've never been to Chams, but I know it has a great reputation.
You could put your name down for an SH social at a club to get to know some regulars. That might make your other visits easier. dunno

Chams still has a waiting list for single guy membership as far as I know so a social event would be a way of trying it as you don't usually need membership if you are on the social list. Also the Monday night only membership (bi night) will have a shorter waiting list, or none at all. Ring them to check.
Will you fit in? You will be at the upper end of the age range but you won't be alone. How you act around people will be as important as your age in whether you have a good time there. Chams usually has a good mix of ages and sizes so it is well worth a visit.
